The Premier League is finally back.

Bournemouth got an early chance themselves through Antoine Semenyo, but Milos Kerkez did just enough to put him off.

It should have been a red card for Marcos Senesi, who intentionally handled the ball on the halfway line to stop a goal opportunity for Hugo Etikte.

VAR checked the incident and decided it wasn’t a red card offence. The debate would be about the distance to the goal.

An incident involving Antoine Semenyo receiving a racist comment from the crowd and bringing it to the attention of the referee. The Liverpool fan was escorted out of the stadium by the police.

Respect to Antoine Semenyo for speaking out and continuing the game.

In the second half, Cody Gakpo got the early goal for Liverpool, creating space for himself and striking to double the lead.

Antoine Semenyo scored for Bournemouth from a counterattack, and they were back in the game.

Antoine Semenyo wasn’t done as the second goal was a brilliant solo goal, dribbling from his half to score and draw Bournemouth level.

Federico Chiesa came on for Liverpool and scored the goal for Liverpool to put them back in the lead.

Mohammed Salah finished off the match for Liverpool to make it four with tears after the final whistle.
