In the first half, Tottenham Hotspur defended well, and Thomas Frank’s game plan with 5 in defence looked to pay off.

Micky van de Ven scored the goal for Tottenham Hotspur late in the first half. The goal came from a long ball from a free kick to the back post.

Second half, Cristian Romero scored Tottenham Hotspur’s second goal from another long ball. The new goalkeeper for Paris Saint-Germain, Lucas Chevalier, should have done better.

Paris Saint-Germain got a goal back with a shot outside the box from Lee Kang-in. A brilliant cross into the box from Ousmane Dembele and Goncalo Ramos converted to bring Paris-Saint Germain level.

Tottenham Hotspur were the better team for the majority of the match, until the last 15 minutes, when the momentum shifted to Paris Saint-Germain.
